DSD staff go by their last name, while DSHS staff go by their first name. Calling them by their first name gives easy access for patients to see DSD staff's first and last names on their badges.

Must be of a style and color with a heel height appropriate for the type of work performed.  Dress shoes are acceptable in office and administrative environments as long as there is not a safety concern, or such footwear is contrary to department needs. Flip Flops and casual sandals are not allowed.
