I considered other organizations at first, but found my home at DZ. Each house has unique character, it's about finding where you are happiest.

False! This is a phrase that can be mistaken as bid promising and later disappoint a PNM if she is not invited back. Although it's okay to let a PNM know you admire them ("I really enjoyed talking to you").

We have monthly dues of about $50 along with a few one time new member fees. I can show you our finacial aid summary if you'd like. DZ also offers scholarships and payment plans.

TRUE! Speak up, explain your interactions with her. Vote based on your opinions not others. Just because one sister wasn't a fan doesn't mean you can't like her.

Isn't being in a sorority like paying for your friends?
All dues we pay go directly back into programing for our chapter. Other clubs and organizations on campus have dues as well.
T or F: If you rank a PNM with a 1 or 5 you must present a short reasoning for you ranking to bid comittee.
TRUE! Don't let this discourage you from ranking a 1 or 5. Talking to bid comittee is quick and easy, we want to hear your opinions! But also remember to use you 1's and 5's sparingly.

We are inclusive to everyone who sparks intrest in joining DZ. Ask around to see our sisters ethnical backgrounds you might be suprised. We also have a Diversity inclusion and belonging chair (DIB), I'd be happy to introduce you.

We do lots of sisterhood events that include a variety of activities. We also put on an event called I have a choice week.

True! Spark conversation, find common interests and find what gets the PNM excited. Let her lead, if she doesn't try giving her some prompts.

What if DZ takes away time from my academics and I fall behind?
Sisters are always there to help. DZ helps to teach you time managment and stay on top of your commitments. There are also lots of support systems such as Rose buddies, Study groups and our academics chair to help.
