Then one day, I was walking through the quad and spotted this group practicing on the field. For whatever reason, I felt an immediate pull to join, even though I’d never played before. A week later, I found myself on the Boston University coed lacrosse team, finally landing in the last place I’d ever expected—but exactly where I needed to be.
