School - There is only a small preschool in town, so all older students must walk about 3 miles to a school in the nearby community of El Dorado. The walk is time consuming, poorly maintained, and unsafe so many kids are prevented from safely and easily being able to go to school. Eventually, working to improve the route to El Dorado or building a larger school in El Socavón could be a secondary project.
