Only when all the below are met:
For a single animal, a specific single purpose, specific single incident use, client is aware of inherent dangers of use, the Alpha-2 agonist must be administered orally.
It is considered unethical conduct to prescribe/dispense any quantity outside of these limits.
If Bailey saw the horse in October 2024 for a respiratory work up and Amanda saw it in March 2025 for vaccine administration, when the client asks for Nebulizing solution, who do you put it under?

If Chad is not available to sign or fill out a prescription referral for his client, is there anything we can do or do we have to wait for him to be able to sign it?
If he approves the prescription being filled or another vet can look at a file and determines the medication is appropriate, another veterinarian at the same practice can write and sign a prescription referral form.
