Explain why God would send Jesus to the world at the time that he did.

What was the world like before Jesus came?

Think of the scripture you read in the old testament

The world has become totally corrupt. There were many wars, slavery, cruelty and the worship of false Gods like golden statues etc.

many people no longer worshiped God at all and were consumed with greed at any cost. Even the Jewish religion had become corrupt ( remember when Jesus went to the temple and was so angry he turned over the tables etc.  They had turned their sacred place into a money market and not a place to pray and talk to God)
