What happens if a candidate for any position of EC plans to attend a term away program for either semester during the upcoming school year? 

The highest ranked runner-up will be offered the opportunity to assume their position during their absence; if the highest ranked runner-up declines, the opportunity shall be passed down among the other candidates in a descending order according to the outcome of the election.

Class presidents (8), boarding representatives (2), day student representatives (2), Diversity Ambassador Co-Chairs (2), CAM representatives (2), and faculty representatives (4). Each person elected in this capacity shall have one vote. In addition to these specialized representatives, the following members shall have one vote, representing the school at-large: Co-chairs (2), secretary (1), Dean of Students (1), Head of the Upper School (1).
