No, we need the Health Screening Assessment form, to know if they are physically fit enough to perform their job duties, and an annual physical is way more involved.

What are licensing forms?

Licensing forms are extremely important legal documents any accredited/licensed ECE facility (preschool, headstarts and daycares) MUST have on hand for every single employee on site at any given time. Essentially, these are the legal requirements by the state that allow them to be accredited and  to ensure the health and safety of children in care

It means anyone can enrol, without completion of High School or GED programs

Is Dtap and Tdap the same thing?

Tdap protects against Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (whooping cough). Although DTaP and Tdap protect against the same diseases, they differ significantly:

DTaP contains full-strength doses for children under 7 while Tdap acts as a booster shot with lower doses of diphtheria and pertussis for adolescents and adults.

When reviewing a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the Red Cross, you notice it says “eligible for skills assessment in 90 days” what does that mean?

It means the educator has not done an in-person skills assessment for CPR/AED yet
