You will have a list of LONG directions with bullet points. It will have a box with 1500 plus characters in the bottom right hand corner.

Look for pronouns he, his, him if it is a man or she her, herself if it is a woman.
How do I know there is a shift in the poem?
The poem changes from positive or negative. Sometimes words like yet, but, however may be in the poem.

Try to explain using because and do not repeat.
What is the mirror effect?
When you write the same thing for your answer and your explain, you are repeating the same thing stated in the cite evidence, or using the same words over and over.
What are two other clues to indicate the story is a biography?
Usually it has dates, states the person's name, tells about the person's life, obstacles and/or successes. (accept any 2 of the ones above)
