This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. In has a perfect blend of action and surprise that is usually seen only in other games. The first game was a sleeper hit but this one is even better with plenty of new enhancements. Highly recommended! 8/10

I can't remember what this game was about. That's all I can say about this game. 6/10

What is "Flying Dragon"? (NES)
This version is good for this arcade game, buts it's too old. The graphics are alright, but the game doesn't demand much. You have to like this arcade game to like this game. 4/10

The editors of EGM predicted that this 16 bit console would win the next generation console wars.
What is the Turbografx-16? The Sega Genesis has no great games and the Super Nintendo would come out too late to make a dent.
I was not overly impressed with this game. I loved the first game and felt that the second was too much of a kiddie game. The third try at this game doesn't have enough action in the action scenes and the whole quest is slow and tedious. Not much fun. 5/10
What is "Alex Kidd in High Tech World?" (SMS)
I feel sorry for this game. It is similar to another game, a challenging combination of action strategy. This game requires experimenting, through trial, and error, to find the correct pattern for each level. Kiddie graphics disguise a game that is for all ages and filled with countless hours of enjoyment! 8/10
What is "Adventures of Lolo"? (NES)
This is a very good game with nice graphics highlighting an involving adventure game. The game requires precise movements that detract from play in several areas - but it is definitely an above-average title. 7/10
What is "Ironsword"? (NES)
This game is O.K., but not a great game. The full screen graphics are very detailed and humorous, but the rest of the fame graphics are poorly done. It seems like most of the attention was put on the graphics pictures and sounds and none of the game characters or play. 7/10
What is "3 Stooges"? (NES)
Using this controller is "sort of like driving a car with no steering wheel or riding a bike with no hands".
What is the U-Force?
This game is one of my favorites! It combines an exciting theme with some of the best graphics and sounds ever seen in a home video game. The execution is brilliant, the many power-up options welcome, and the entire game is a joy to play! Highly recommended! 8/10
What is "Legendary Axe"? (TG16)
It's like some other games - nothing special and definitely not very exciting. Worse than average game play and not worth buying. Save your money for better games. 3/10
What is "Alleyway"? (GB)
The other games were "Arkanoid" and "Breakout".
Above average graphics help this pretty straight forward shooter. Things get kind of choppy in some areas, however. Not a lot of variety - if you get through one round you've basically gotten through them all. 5/10
What is "Galaxy Force"? (SMS)
I had a couple problems with this game. The landscapes always look the same (so much for simulations) the sounds are not much better that 2600 beeps and whines and the special mode hardly alters the game at all. It does have a barrel roll, but not much else. 3/10
What is "Stealth ATF"? (NES)
Quatermann reported that the "Super Namco 16 Bit System" is set to become this console.
What is the P.C. Engine 2?
This game reminds me of a souped up version of another game. The characters are the same size and move at the same spreed (at a crawl). The backgrounds also scroll in the same fashion. There are Boss characters, maps, and and more detailed graphics, but the game wasn't that exciting. 6/10
What is "Last Battle"? (Genesis)
The other game is "Altered Beast".
A new type of game that combines the board-style war games with a few action sequences. It is slow, dull, and boring and will appeal only to the war-simulation crowd. Not nearly as detailed both in terms of graphics and play of the orignal version. Not for your average NES player. 3/10
What is "Defender of the Crown"? (NES)
A decent game with some nice features that are not always useful (like having the ability to have players jump). Lots of good looks, but not overly exciting to play. 7/10
What is "Reggie Jackson Baseball"? (SMS)
The controls in this game are too jerky and it quickly becomes difficult to control your characters. The scrolling also hinders the game by placing you in vulnerable positions. The intermissions are cool, but the rest of this cart is a disappointment. Not a true game from this publisher.
What is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"? (NES)
Konami is the non-true game publisher.
The EGM editors proclaimed that this is one of the most impressive joysticks ever created making use of every joystick power-up ever seen that delivers just about anything you'd want in a stick!
What is The Gizmo by Beeshu?
This is not an exceptional action game or adventure game. The fighting is very straightforward and most of the real combat is between your character and the Bosses who are next to impossible to beat. There are some redeeming features, however, and the opening music is very good. (5/10)
What is "Fester's Quest"? (NES)
Its been awhile since there's been a decent quest game. Like the last one this one comes along at the right time. Great for an average player, this is a challenging game that makes you think about what you're doing. If you're done with the other game, get this one. 6/10
What is "Sharazade"? (NES)
The other quest game is "Link's Game".
If you like games like this other game, you'll like this game. It's a very good game that has all the options and play features you'd expect to find in this type of game. The one thing I didn't like was having to traverse each level and then transfer back to the main screens over and over again. 7/10
What is "Strider"? (NES)
The other game was "Bionic Commando".
A four-meg disappointment. This game doesn't take advantage of its high power, instead you get an action/adventure with a quest that's too short and doesn't offer a lot of options. There's very little action and the Bosses aren't as difficult as Bosses should be. 5/10
What is "Spell Caster"? (SMS)
Quartermann reports that a company in California will be releasing this NES expansion device by the end of 1990.
What is "Keep it under your hats but this special device will upgrade your existing NES into a full fledged 32-Bit powerhouse!"?
