What time should students arrive every morning?
Between 8:00 and 8:15. If you do not see Ivan at the door (after 8:15), you are tardy!
What is the rule about water bottles?
Only EHS water bottles are allowed! They can be purchased at the Front Desk for $2.

What happens when you get a second warning?
You will write a behavior journal describing the rule you violated and how you will avoid this in the future.
Can you wear any sweatshirt you like?
No, all sweatshirts must be issued by EHS. All uniforms can be purchased from the Front Desk.
Are students allowed to have cell phones at EHS?
No; if a student has a cell phone, it should be turned off and stored in their backpack upon arrival. If a phone goes off in class, the teacher will take it away, and a parent will have to pick it up.

False; we eat nutritious vegan meals every day!
What kind of tree is the biggest tree in the EHS back yard?
A willow tree!
What happens when you get a third warning?
You will be removed from class and will call home.
How should you be dressed when you enter the school?
EHS gym uniform, no hats, no hoodies. Your cell phone (if you have one) should be turned OFF and put away in your bag.
How many nights per week do EHS students read?
7 days per week!

Are you allowed to leave any questions on a homework assignment blank?
No; you must make an attempt or explain what confused you!
Do students ever get "dress down"?
Yes! "Dress down" days may be awarded to students for special effort or extraordinary kindness.
What is the biggest rule for when students are transitioning from class to class?
Students must walk from class to class in line order (alphabetical order) and must ALWAYS be silent in the hallways.
What are the sports teams at EHS?
Lacrosse, Soccer, and Wrestling!

Where and why do you get demerits?
Demerits are given outside of the classroom for talking, lateness, dress code, food.
During the school year, what happens with jewelry?
Necklaces must be tucked in. Bracelets should not be worn.
Are students responsible for doing homework if they are sick?
Yes! Students must have completed every assignment when they return to school after being absent.
Why is it important to have sports?
It keeps us healthy and focused. Sports are just as important as class!
