What must students do to be considered on time for each period?

Students need to be in their assigned classroom, seated and ready to learn when the bell rings for each period

To place all phones and electronics in a secure pouch so students can focus on learning and growth

When do I lock my phone and electronics in my Yondr pouch? 

Students receive their Yondr Pouch in the morning during Arrival in the MPR.

What are the consequences for having gum? (whether you are chewing it or have it in your possession) 

Student with gum will automatically get reflection and will have to come to Saturday school to clean up gum from the school!

When is reflection? (day and time)

Reflection is every Thursday from 12:45pm-1:45pm

What are two main requirements that students need to have for merit days this year?

When do I get my Yondr Pouch unlocked?

During 6th period dismissal with my 6th period teacher

Can I wear Joggers to school as part of the uniform?

Yes! As long as the Joggers are not sweatpants material

When do I have to go to Saturday School? 

Students have to come to saturday school if they have earned more than 2 reflections (for behavior) or for ANY major behavior incident

Can I ever take out my phone from my Yondr pouch during the school day?

NO!

What happens the 2nd time a phone gets confiscates? 

1) phone is taken away and will be given back to the parent during a scheduled parent conference 

2) Parent will be notified through parent square message and phone call of incident, and schedule a parent conference 

3) At the parent conference, parent receive the phone and student will be placed on a phone contract for the rest of the year

What is an example of a non negotiable action at Eisner?

Any one of these examples:

  • Endangerment: Use, transfer, or possession of dangerous objects, substance,etc.

  • Violence: Acts of physical/ verbal abuse, gang-related behavior/activity, acts of bullying, and acts of threatening & intimidation towards peers or school personne

  • Theft

  • Sexual harassment/Inappropriate play/touching/sexual acts 

Technology Abuse & Misuse (including cyberbullying & social media)

In order to be able to participate in the snowcone party next week, what are the requirements?

Students must have perfect attendance ALL Wek (Monday through Friday)

What happens if I am caught with a phone out of the pouch during the school day?

Phone/electronic will be taken away and student will be placed on a phone contract where they will have to turn in the phone everyday! Along with this the student will not receive their phone back until their parent is able to schedule a meeting with Ms. Guzman to sign and begin a phone contract
