I am a regular rhythm with normal measurements. I'm just a little slow.

What is Sinus Bradycardia?

100

My atria is confused and quivering. I am irregular. This is what I'm called when I am over 100bmp.

What is atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response?

100

I have something going on with my P's. I originate from the AV junction. Otherwise, I look pretty normal. My P's can be absent, after my QRS, or my PR interval can be very short. My rate is under 50.

What is Junctional Rhythm?

100

I am a flat line. I have no pulse and need help now.

What is asystole?
100

I have all my complexes, and I am regular. I just like my P's a little farther from my QRS.

What is sinus rhythm with a first degree block?

200

I am a regular rhythm with all normal complexes. I am a happy heart rhythm.

What is Normal Sinus Rhythm?

200

I am usually a regular rhythm; I can be fast or slow. You can tell what I am by my flutter waves.

What is atrial fibrillation?
200

I am a pacemaker, but something is not right. I have a pacing spike, but nothing happens. What happened?

What is failure to pace?

200

I can be course or fine, I am a scary rhythm that makes the ventricles quiver so they can't pump blood. I need electricity asap.

What is ventricular fibrillation?

200

It's like my P and QRS are mad at each other. They start out normal, then get farther and farther away from each other until the QRS is dropped. Then it repeats.

What is second degree type 1 block?

300

I am a regular rhythm; I just like to go fast. My rate is over 100.

What is sinus tachycardia?

300

My atria is confused and quivering. I am irregular, but at a normal rate under 100.

What is atrial fibrillation with controlled ventricular response?

300

I am a rapid rhythm over 100 that originates from the AV junction. My P waves are sometimes absent, have a short PR interval, or even after my QRS.

What is junctional tachycardia?

300

I can have a pulse....or I can be pulseless. I look big and scary. You can only see a wide QRS and it is fast. I need your help.

What is ventricular tachycardia?

300

Sometimes you see my on a sinus EKG. I can look notched and wide. If you check me on a 12 lead, you can see if I am from the right or left side.

What is a bundle branch block?

400

Some people call me an ectopic beat. I come from the atria and make the heart rhythm look a little abnormal. You can tell I'm from the atria because I usually have a P wave.

What are PAC's?- Don't forget to document my underlying rhythm.

400

I like to change it up. I have 3 or more looks for my P waves. Everything else is normal and my rate is under 100.

What is wandering atrial pacemaker?

400

I look wide and slow, my rate is below 50. I happen when the AV node takes over pacing for my heart. Since the AV node left me hanging, I have no P waves.

What is idioventricular rhythm?

400

I flip my peaks back and forth. I crave magnesium and maybe some electricity. Some medications like Haldol, Zofran, and amiodarone can cause me to happen. Also, if I have a beat on my T wave, I can happen. (R on T phenomenon)

What is Torsade De Pointes?

400

My pr intervals are regular, until a drop a few QRS. I can be dangerous if I am dropping a lot of QRS and my rate is slow.

What is a second-degree type 2 block?

500

I am an extra beat that originates from the AV junction. I may have a short PR interval or have an absent P or one that shows up after the QRS. Don't forget to document my underlying rhythm.

What is Premature Junctional Contractions or PJC's?

500

I am fast, but I still like different P waves. I have 3 or more styles of my P waves and my rate is over 100.

What is multifocal atrial tachycardia?

500

My rate is between 60 and 100. I originate from the AV junction. My P waves can be absent, after my QRS, or have a long PR interval.

What is accelerated junctional rhythm?

500

I look pretty normal on an EKG strip. I can look like many things. But if you check my pulse, you won't find it. I need help right away and need you to figure out my cause (H&T's).

What is PEA?

500

Something isn't right. My atria and my ventricles are not working together. My P's all march out and my QRS's all march out. They probably need a pacemaker to get it together.

What is a third-degree heart block?
