What are the guidelines for turning in late work?
Late work may be turned in late as long as we are still working on that text, in which the assignment is due. Once we begin a new text, late work for the previous text will not be accepted. Once a 0 is entered in the grade book, it will remain a 0.
What are the rules for stepping out of the classroom?
Sign out with your name and the time you leave; sign back in with the time that you enter back into the room; do not leave the classroom without permission.
What is the best way to get in touch with Ms. Lopez?
Provide an example of disrespect when a fellow student is speaking during a discussion.

Raise your hand, do not interrupt when others are talking, no side conversations.
These are the rules regarding food and drinks.
No food in the classroom; no drinks in the classroom other than clear water (without color/flavor).

Quietly processing what the student is saying without interruption and eager to speak.
Set a goal for yourself to make things right and succeed at reaching your goal.
