What is a noun?
Person, place, thing, or idea.
What is an action verb?
It takes the place of the noun and the antecedent is the actual word that the pronoun has replaced.
Example:
Sam is a nice guy. We really like him.
Pronoun: Him Antecedent: Sam
What does and adjective do?
Describes the noun.
What does an adverb do?
Describes the verb.
Example:
He ran fast. FAST is the adverb telling how he ran.
She studied hard. HARD is the adverb telling how she studied.
What kind of sentence is this?
Adam is a really fun guy, and he really likes water skiing.
Compound Sentence.
Notice the comma, the coordinating conjunction, and the 2 simple sentences.

The verb "rides" is singular, but the subject is compound, or plural, meaning more than one. Rides should be changed to ride.
When adding -es to make a word plural that ends in -y, what is the rule?
If it is consonant -y then you change the y to i and add -es. If the word ends in vowel -y, add s.

Day -- Days
Bunny -- Bunnies
