When I got home from school after a long boring day, I took out the peanut butter, jelly, and bread. After taking the lid off of the jars, I spread the peanut butter on one side of the bread and the jelly on the other, and then I put the two pieces of bread together. After that, I enjoyed it while watching “Cops” on the TV. I swear, that was the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich I ever ate.

One of the thieves said, “I want a large bag of gold,” and he opened the glass cupboard and got it. The other two did the same, and they, too, got exactly what they wanted. The thieves forgot one thing. Not one of them put anything back inside the cupboard.This went on and on for weeks and months. At last, the leader of the thieves could bear it no longer. As he crossed a narrow bridge, he looked down and saw his reflection in the quiet water as if in a mirror. But the greedy Dog thought he saw a real Dog carrying a bone much bigger than his own. If he had stopped to think he would have known better. But instead of thinking, he dropped his bone and sprang at the Dog in the river, only to find himself swimming for dear life to reach the shore. Do you like to play video games? Most kids do, at least from time to time. That’s why so many game designers and teachers believe that using educational games are a great way to help children learn about school subjects like math, reading, science and word study. Educational video games are effective because they take the elements of games and apply them to learning in ways that are di?cult to do in a traditional classroom. Learning games are usually based on some kind of problem that the player needs to solve. They can fail and learn from their mistakes in a safe setting, without being “put on blast” in front of their peers. Learning games usually incorporate fun, challenging, and unexpected elements to keep players interested, like sound effects, incentives, and fun characters. If the game is designed well, it is engineered so that players are challenged just enough to motivate them, but not so much that they get frustrated. Some learning games are able to assess whether students are learning the targeted learning skill that players practice in the game. Teachers can track student learning on a separate dashboard and provide help when students struggle. Learning games don’t address all of the learning needs in schools, but they can be an effective and fun addition to traditional learning.

Once there was a severe drought. There was little water in Tony’s well, and he didn’t know what would happen to the fruit trees in his garden.
Just then, he noticed three men looking intently at his house. He was certain that the three were planning to rob his house.
He acted quickly. He shouted out to his son, “My son, because of the drought, money has become scarce. There are many thieves. Let us protect our valuables, and put all of our jewels in a box and throw them into the well. They will be safe there.”
He quickly told his son to put some large stones in a box and throw them into the well. The thieves heard the sound of the box falling into the well and were happy.
That night they came to the well. The box was heavy and had landed deep down in the well. To get it, they would have to take out some of the water. They started drawing water from the well and pouring it onto the ground. Tony had made arrangements to make sure that the water reached his fruit trees. He had channels leading from the well to each of the trees.
By the time the thieves found the box, they had drawn out enough water to water the trees. It was almost dawn. Tony sent for the soldiers, and just as the thieves were trying to open the box, they were caught red-handed.
