The respiratory system takes in the oxygen and gets rid of the carbon dioxide and the circulatory system transports oxygen-rich blood to all the cells in your body. Paragraph 4 states that the respiratory system and circulatory system work together to give you the oxygen you need.

The part of RAP that is missing is the RESTATE. It should restate the question first and say:

"The respiratory system and circulatory system work together to make sure you get the oxygen you need."

What is wrong with this RAP response?


Identify two different trades' apprentices could learn during the Middle Ages. Use evidence from the text to support your answer. 

"Two different trades apprentices could learn during the Middle Ages were to be a carpenter or a tailor. Page 32."

The problem with this RAP response is that proof/text evidence was not included. 

YOU CANNOT JUST SAY WHAT PAGE NUMBER YOU FOUND YOUR EVIDENCE IN. You need to state/explain the actual text evidence you used from that page number. 

For example, "According to page 32, the picture shows various examples of different trades people could learn."

Conflict: The central struggle or problem that the characters must overcome, which can be internal (within a character) or external (against another character, nature, or society).
