A: It shows that regardless of your possessions, or seeming respect, no one really cares about you when you’re helpless or dead. She was drunk, and the men didn’t care, Gatsby died, no one cared.

- It means that Gatsby is stuck in the past, and stuck on a dream of a life with Daisy that he could never fulfill. Going against the wind and current, getting nowhere.

- One fine morning getting cut off mid sentence could show how Gatsbys life suddenly got cut off and how life then went back to how everything was before anyone met Gatsby. It was as if he didn't affect any of their lives.

- The green light is located on Daisy’s dock and represents its love for her. The green light is so close to Gatsby, yet so far and represents the dream of Daisy. The green light resembles that Gatsby’s entire life has evolved around the past, and couldn’t go into the future, or proceed forward
