What is implied texture
Italian for light/dark; contrasts of light and shadow.
What is chiaroscuro?
Prolonged staring at any saturated color fatigues the receptors in our eyes, which compensate when allowed to rest by producing the color’s complementary.

Parallel lines receding into the distance seem to converge until they meet at a point on the horizon line where they disappear.
