this is a character that stays the same in a story
What is static character?
He seemed happy, or at least he smiled a great deal more now. The history and character of Mr. Bilbo Baggins became once again the chief topic of conversation. No one had a more attentive audience than old Ham Gamgee. He spoke and they listened.
What is third person limited?
We study how a character looks in facial expressions, body movements and speech as well as the way they think and feel.

this is when the story starts settling down, and problems start being resolved

this is a character that is fully developed and has different sides to their personality

this is the part of the story where the story gets complicated with lots of problems

We need to understand the reason for the character's actions so we look for these.

"'All the same. He is a good man, truthful, kind and remarkable in his sphere.' Anna said to herself....'But why do his ears stick out so oddly? Did he have to have his hair cut?' Exactly at midnight, when Anna was sitting at her desk finishing a letter, she heard the measured steps of slippered feet outside her door. "
What is 3rd person omniscient?
This is a type of question in which you MUST use EVIDENCE from the text plus REASONING/ THINKING in order to answer it.
