What does it mean for a character to be round vs flat?
We know a lot about a round character, they are well developed and have lots of characteristics.
There are only one or two attributes applied to a flat character, we don't know much about them.
What is situational irony?
The situation itself is ironic. The situation or outcome is different than the reader of the characters expects.
What is tone?
The author's attitude about the subject of the story

The story is happening to you, the reader.
