The good guy or hero.

The bad guy or villain.
What is an antagonist?
When and where a story takes place.

The events that take place in the story.

Something that goes wrong in the story. A struggle that a character must overcome.
What is conflict?
The events that build suspense, develop problem/conflict, and lead to the climax.
What is rising action?
The part of the conflict and usually the most exciting.
What is climax?
The events that lead up the solution of the problem.
What is falling action?
How the problem is solved.
What is the resolution?
The perspective for which a story is written.
What is point of view?
When the character narrates the story. (I, we, me)
What is first person point of view (P.O.V.)?
When the author speaks to the reader (you, your).
What is second person point of view (P.O.V.)?
When the author tells the story (he, she, they).
What is third person point of view (P.O.V.)?
The message or moral of the story, such as kindness or honestly.

Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the fairy godmother in Cinderella.
