Bonus Q Answer: The client must terminate the W2 EE and hire them into the system as a 1099 contractor. You can only pay the EE wages associated with their EE type. 1099 Contractor gets paid 1099 wages, W2 EE is paid W2 wages.

Have the client determine the correct value: F = Employer-financed private plan, D = Employee-financed, B = Both contribute, or N = No private plan (state plan used). Once determined, the client or PRS will need to update the employee's tax settings with the correct NJ  Private plan indicator.

You would need to go the time off request profile within the timesheet profile assigned to the employee and navigate to the default settings section for the time off you want to restrict. You must then create a days blocked profile and assign it within the default settings and save.

You need to create a rate table and set it up with the $28.00 rate tied to the specific job, then you will need to assign the rate table to the EE, reapply the rate table and make sure the timesheet profile is set up to allow the EE to toggle between jobs.

The report shows all transactions that would hit the client's bank account that processed in Elevated. It will show transaction types (ACH Debits, Checks Direct Deposits), EE information, pay date, and dollar amounts.

Within the accrual profile, you will need to update the maximum accrued amount (per accrual year) and set it to 180 hours, then you will need to update the maximum running balance and set it to 200 hours.

How do you get the WC report to reflect the new policy rates if the dates of the new policy include previous payrolls?

You will need to update the policy in Elevated, assign the new codes to each EE, and recalculate the labor distribution settings for the prior payrolls processed that are covered in the policy.

What is the first thing you do prior to zeroing out balances back to1/1 of the current year and executing the accruals to present date with new accrual profile settings in place? 

Scenario: Client's accruals were set up incorrectly (manager is aware), the PRS updated the accrual profile within Elevated already. The PRS now has to correct the balances in the system.
