Are life guards on the beach year round?
No. Lifeguards patrol Emerald Isle beaches from the week before Memorial Day through Labor Day. Stationary lifeguards are located at both the East and West Regional Ocean Accesses, and up to 4 roving lifeguards patrol the beach strand daily. All lifeguards are United States Lifeguard Association (USLA) certified.

A guest calls in to RES with an internet concern. What is the first thing you should do when assisting the guest?
Try to troubleshoot the issue by asking if they can confirm the WIFI information. If it's correct, have they found the router and tried to reset. Last resort, we'll require assistance from MNT.

Under NWPP you will not be required to pay for accidental damage to the home or the personal property of the Owner contained within the Premises, up to a limit of $2,000 per reservation. Guest must report accidental damage during their stay.
A guest calls about a pest control issue. What question should you ask?
-where are you seeing the pests?
Is beach equipment allowed to be left overnight on the beach?
No, all tents, canopies, chairs, and toys must be removed from the beach strand nightly
A guest mentions they are bringing an ESA or service animal. What should you ask of them?
Please ask the guest to send the appropriate paperwork to Guest Services. Service and/or assistance animals are permitted in a 'no pet' property, provided all appropriate documentation has been submitted to Emerald Isle Realty.
