What is:

1. Introduce the idea of classroom community

2. Define a Charter as something special that the class makes to share how people want to feel and how they can help each other to experience those feelings.

3. Have every student list 3-5 feeling words to share how they want to feel at school.

4. Bring each student's response together to find commonalities and decide on 5-6 words that represent how the class wants to feel.

5. Brainstorm how the class community can help each other experience the decided upon feelings.

6. Design it!
