At the start of group, student immediately begins to present in a hyperactive and distracting manner. Student is seen roaming around the classroom, saying insults, and throwing items at peers. Despite redirection, student continues to present in a provocative manner.

Another student was in the isolation room, causing the student to elope from the building. Staff followed the student across the busy street and attempted to enter the store. Staff blocked the student from entering the store, and the student then started walking toward nearby train tracks.

Another student inquired why the student was calling others fat in an attempt to stand up for a friend. The student responded by stating, “what are you going to do about it?” to which the other student responded by placing the peer in a chokehold. The student who was in the chokehold and called his classmates “fat” began hitting and pulling the hair of the student who had him in a chokehold.

Student reported feeling sad that a friend of theirs was hurt in a car accident. Student was checked up on by multiple staff and their story stayed the same. When parent was called, it was confirmed that the story was not true.

The student attempted to run into the parking lot and staff stopped the student. When staff intervened, the student became extremely physically aggressive with staff by pushing, biting, kicking, hitting.
