What is...radiant energy strikes the earth. Some is absorbed to heat our oceans and land. Some is reflected back to space. If there are too many gasses in our atmosphere, a greenhouse effect is created. The gasses trap the heat from radiant energy in our atmosphere instead of letting them escape to space, therefore warming our home!
