Give 3 reasons why we should do a rhetorical analysis.

1. Rhetorical analysis helps us to understand and work with the tools we use in our own writing and speaking. Everyone uses ethos, pathos, and logos in their day-to-day lives, generally without realizing it. 2. Rhetorical analysis helps us to break down the arguments that we see in the world around us. It makes us more conscious of the ways that issues are discussed and gives us a leg up in that conversation. 3. The way that you make a point is often as important as the point that you’re making. Understanding rhetoric makes us more persuasive and helps us to discuss controversial topics with tact, delicacy, and intelligence.
