What is personification?
An example is, "I know what it feels like to miss your brothers, because my brother lives far away. This makes me more interested in Dylan because I can relate to him."
What is making a connection? (self to text, if we're being specific)
The advertising technique that uses the viewer's emotions.
What is pathos?
The final sentence in your paragraph; restates your points and your argument/opinion.
What is a concluding sentence?
The type of conflict that we see when someone is injured in a fire, or when someone is snowed into their house.
What is person vs. nature?
It was raining cats and dogs!

An example is, "I know that Dan has found out who Dylan really is, because he tells the people at the shelter that he is Dylan's step-father."
What is making an inference / inferring?
An advertisement showing a neglected cat, with the statistic that "150 pets are brought to the Humane Society each month, and only 25% are adopted" is using which advertising technique?

What you need to do before you hand in your paragraph to make sure you haven't made spelling and grammar mistakes, or forgotten something important.
