Go to assigned seat, read Smartboard, and get out materials you need.
How are you supposed to travel in the hallways?
WALKING, go right to class, can talk to other people, hands to yourself
How do students respect other students property in English class?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.

blue bins at the front of the room- in your blocks bin

Before or when the bell rings.

keep your hands to yourself, focus, complete your own work, help one another

Directions are always on the Smartboard and projected

Not during a whole group lesson. Send Mrs. Knight a smartpass and use restroom signal
Where should any electronics (cellphones/airpods)be kept during the school day?
Off and in your backpack.

Focused, on task, quietly talking

Listen to others. Keep voice to the level it should be based on class activity. Be helpful. Be respectful. Be responsible. Come prepared. Help others.
What do I do if I do not have a pencil AND how/when do I sharpen my pencil if I do have one?
Silently walk over to the back whiteboard by the door to sign out a pencil. Not during whole group lesson- go to front of the classroom on top of file cabinet to sharpen.

Put away your things, check your desk/underneath your desk, put away notebook, put away class assignment that you are working on, clean up trash, sit and wait until bell or Mrs. Knight dismisses you

walk quietly down to the cafeteria, wait to get food until called, clean up after yourself, help sweep floor, not scream/shout, hands to yourself, etc.
Why is it important to have a cooperative, productive, respectful work environment in the classroom?
To learn best, so everyone feels safe, so everyone can focus, etc.
