How much do I have to read?
2 chapter books or 1 chapter book over 150 pages
Where do I sit?
You can choose your seat, until you can't. If you are responsible and get work done-you choose. If you can't be responsible- I choose for you! Seating charts can be for one student or the whole class.
What if I like to move a lot?
I am okay if you need to stand or sit on the floor to work.
What is something I need everyday?
pencil and a Chromebook
Do I have pets?
I have 3 dogs.
Do I have to read out loud?
Not always and not often, but sometimes you will be asked to read a short passage in front of the class.
What if I don't get my work done in class?
Then it becomes homework! You can use AP time to finish or take it home and do it.
What if I need to go to the restroom?
You may ask to go when you need to go. Do not ask to go when I am teaching. Use YOUR work time to go. (try to go between classes)
What else should I bring everyday?
A positive attitude and a willingness to try

What level do I have to read?
You have to read at your reading level-
should be a 4.0 or higher
What does Mrs. Knolla expect from me?
I expect that you come ready to learn and to try. I will show you respect, and I ask the same of you.
Where can I get books to read?
You can check out from the library here or in Harper or Anthony. You can find books in our classrooms. You can listen to audiobooks on your Chromebooks.
Do I need paper?
You can use your own paper, but I will have some if you need extra.
Are you married?
YES! I am MRS. Knolla.
What if I only get half of my AR goal?
You get half of the points! A 50%
How long is too long to turn work in?
You have 2 weeks to get points for the assignment. If work is not turned it by Friday it will be marked down 10%.
After 2 weeks late it will be %50.
After 3 weeks I will not except it.
What do I do when I come into your classroom?
Look at the board to see what to do. Get started on work when the bell rings.

You get a 0%! 20% of your grade
What if I misbehave?
1. We will talk one on one.
2. I will email parents.
3. You will see Mr. Williams (detention)
