Positive feedback, K-bucks, High-fives/fist bumps, special assignments (line leader, teacher assistant, etc.)
What if you are located in a shared classroom/ space and are given an Activity Plan that involves painting, how would you prep the classroom or space?
Lay down table cloths on the tables, lay down tarps on the floor or carpet, and check for an available space to paint outdoors.
What is the first thing you should do when you get your supplies?
Organize the materials by separating the specific amount of supplies needed for your group.
If the supplies are separated by your site coordinator prior to being given to you, take them to your workspace and prep them before the Activity Plan begins.
What type of coloring sheets are appropriate for supplemental work?
Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.) and ELA (vowels, sight words, grammar, etc.) -related coloring sheets, Symmetry, SEL (emotions, feelings, etc.)
If you have a student who is not willing to participate, what would you do?
Please state examples.
After taking your group to the restroom during the restroom break, two students ask you to go to the restroom again after 10 minutes into starting the Educational Enrichment rotation. What do you do next?
Take the entire group to the restroom, and/or call your Site Coordinator for assistance.
What do you do if you don't have enough supplies or the correct supplies for the Activity Plan?
Speak with your Site Coordinator and/or utilize the extra supplies that can supplement the missing supplies.
Name one way to encourage students to attempt difficult questions on their homework before asking you for help?
Providing guided questions. Giving hints.
Refrain from giving students the answers!
Separate students, listen to each student's point of view, inform your coordinator, and complete the incident report or written warning (if needed).
What if there is inclement weather that day? Would you take your students outside during the Recreation rotation? Why or why not?
No, it is not safe for the students to play outdoors during inclement weather
To make chocolate-covered Oreos, you need the following: A hot plate, a pot, mixing spoons, plates, melting chocolate, and Oreos.
After completion, what are your next steps?
Unplug the hot plate, rinse, wash, and dry reusable supplies (such as pots and mixing spoons). Store these supplies in a secure location. Wipe down tables, sweep, and mop the floors.
If there are leftover food items, store them in storage bags and in a secure location to prevent insects and rodents.
What are ways you can review student homework?
Double-checking their answers for grammar or calculation errors (this can be executed as you walk around)
Pro tip: review questions and answers aloud, popcorn review, buddy system
What are the signs students display when they are losing interest, and how do you re-engage them back on task?
head on their desk, disrupting other students, throwing items, and starting to misbehave
call and response, loss of privileges, ask them if they need assistance, take a brain break, etc.
What if a student reports seeing a weapon? What would you do next?

Play games such as Jeopardy, Around the World, Trivia, Charades, Lesson recaps/wrap-ups, etc.
What if a person you do not recognize arrives to pick up a student? What would you do?
Site Coordinator: Contact the parents/guardians immediately to confirm, check the person's identification card (ID or driver's license), and have the parent/guardian text the work phone stating the person's full name and a statement confirming the person has authorization to pick up the student. Add the person's information to the emergency release form.
