True or False: If you do not understand something that you found during research, it is okay to make something up that makes more sense to you, but still cite the original source.
What is false. Never change an authors work and continue to cite it as theirs. It's like putting words in their mouth! Always try to get help from a librarian, teacher, parent or friend if you need assistance in interpreting something.
