How do you request marketing for your event?
Let your event planer know that you would like to use our marketing services. Your event planner will set you up with someone from our marketing team, who will contact you separately to discuss your marketing needs. Sometimes, your marketing person and event planner will be the same, but not always!!

Who do you ask if you are at your event and need another table or more chairs?
Your event manager! If for some reason you cannot find them, go to the info desk and they will get the CCOM to help you!

What do you do if your at your event and running out of food, but did not request replenishments ahead of time?
Your event manager can ask catering if there is anything else they can provide last minute. Sometimes they have items available, but sometimes they won't. Just remember, anything you add will be an additional charge!

How are A/V costs calculated for your event?
You pay for each A/V technician by the hour (appx. $8.75 each)

NO later than 2 weeks prior to your event!

What marketing services do we provide?
Our marketing service includes but is NOT limited to: - Poster design and creation - Drafted social media posts - Drafted intercom announcements - Other specialty items such as - Ticket stubs - Flyers - LCD screen displays We do not print or display/hang up any of your marketing. We will provide you with the file,and you will be responsible for the rest.

Are you paying for your event manager to be at your event?
Absolutely not!

Are you allowed to bring your own food to an event?
No! It is an Ithaca College/Sodexo policy that all food for an event must come from sodexo. That way, Ithaca College dollars (i.e. SGA money given to you for your event) is not being spent elsewhere, but instead kept within the college.

What should you do when you receive an email with your event summary?
Read it VERY carefully! Read it twice! Make sure that you and your event planner are on the same page. If anything looks wrong or needs a change, contact your EP immediately!

What information do we need to successfully market your event?
-Your organization's name and logo -The name of your event -The date, time, and location of your event -Any requests for how you want the marketing to look (i.e. certain colors or graphics) -Any fun facts about your event (ex. eligible for SLI credit or free food!) -Where to buy tickets/how much tickets are for your event (if applicable)

What is something that your event manager cannot help you with at your event?
