What is Ecology?
It is the sentific study of organisms and between organisms and their enviroment.
100
What is Decomposers?
Breaks down organic matters, such as bacteria or fungi.
100
What is Evaporation?
Where the water changes from liquid to form an atmospheric gas.
100
What is Abotic Factors?
Physical or nonliving factors that shapes up the ecosystem.
100
What is Communities?
Different groups of species live in one area.
200
What is Biosphere?
Biosphere have combined parts of planet which all of life exists such as water, air, land, etc.
200
What is Heterotrophs?
Organisms that rely on other organisms for their energy or food supply.
200
What is Nutrients?
Together all of the chemical substances that an organism requires to live.
200
What is Primary Sucession?
On land the sucession that occurs on surfaces where there are no soil exists.
200
What is Trophic Level?
Each step in a food web or food chain.
300
What is Levels of Organiztion?
To understand the relationships winthin the Biosphere. Such as species, population, communties, ecosystem, and biome.
300
What is Autotrophs?
Only plants, or some algae, and some bacteria can capture energy from sunlight or chemicals to produce foods.
300
What is Limiting Nutrients?
When an ecosystem is limited by single nutrient that cycles very slowly.
300
What is Pioneer Species?
The first species to populate.
400
Tell me the order of the Level of Organtization?
Species, Populations, Communties, Ecosystem, Biome, and Biosphere.
400
What is Food Web?
The feeding relationship among the different organisms in an ecosystem form network of complex interactions.
400
What is Nitrogen Fixtation?
Like Bacteria that lives in soil or roots that convert nitrogen gas into ammonia.
400
What is Commenalism?
One member of the assocation that benefits and the other is neither helped or harmed.
400
What is Parasitism?
One organism lives on or inside another organism and harms it.

What is one Ecological Method and give one example
Observing- It is often the first step in asking ecological questions. Or maybe take first step in designing expirements or models. Expirementing- They can be used to test the hypotheses. Also the scientist maybe will set up artificial enviroment in the lab. Modeling- Ecologists use models to study on the effects to the outer world. Also many of models have mathematical formulas based on data.

Name one Ecological Pyramid and give one example.
Energy Pyramid- Shows the relative amount of energy aviable at each trophic level. Uses only 10 percent of energy for each level. Biomass Pyramid- Represents amount of living organic matter at each trophic level. Pyramid of Numbers- Shows the relative number of indviual organisms at each trophic level.
500
What is Primary Productivity?
Which is at rate which organic matter is created by producers.
500
What is Competitve Exculsion Principle?
states that two species can occupy same niche in same habitat.
500
What is Dentrification?
Other soil bacteria that convert ammonia into nitraites.
