Who is Jack Dempsey? In 1926, the manager of heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey was offered $35,000 plus other benefits amounting to about $25,000 to bring Jack for a month's training at the Laurel Lake Casino - unfortunately Jack lost his title later that year.
