Ethos, Logos, and Pathos are persuasive appeals designed to help convince your reader of your argument. These appeals help either prove your point by showing the facts or manipulate your reader by effecting their emotions. By using these appeals, a writer is able to persuade the reader that their opinion is best.

The driving age should be changed to eighteen-years old because sixteen-year-olds are not mature enough to be handed the responsibility of driving.
