What are picking up procedures?
You must look at their driver’s license and compare their name and driver license number with your documented information.
When an child hits their head?
Report to supervisor once an injury occurs, no matter how minor
How to handle a sick kid?
If the parents are unable to pick the child up, make the child as comfortable as possible, but they must continue to rotate with the group until their parent/emergency contact can pick up. You cannot leave the child unattended.

What is an incident report?
Reports that are made when a child may be injured, or a behavior issue has taken place. If the incident involves two children, a report must be made for both children.

What is a Teacher Time Activity Form?
When an ESD participant is going to be attending another activity that will be located on the campus this must be filed out and turned into the office prior to the activity beginning.
What are our Volunteer and Practicum Policy?
Approved by ESD Office
Must not be left alone with children
Must not handle discipline
Must communicate problems or concerns to the ESD Staff
May lead student activities
Can we give medication to students?
Only Life Saving
If found on a child, staff must take it away and call parents and coordinator
Can staff drive or babysit ESD students?
Prohibited from transporting ESD participants in their vehicles

What is CAT time?
'Choice Activity Time' :This is time where students get to do their choice of a simple activity at the end of the day.
What happens if a child is left over an hour after the site closed?
Staff will remain with the child until the coordinators are able to contact the Police or Sheriff’s Department. Staff are required to stay as late as necessary as instructed by their supervisor.
