Unfortunately not.  For your security, we cannot reset passwords.  You will need to contact the Customer Support Team.

When are new hire grants awarded?

They are granted in the month after you start at Remitly, following Board approval.  The Stock Admin team tries to get them loaded by the 15th of each month.

If you increase your contribution percentage, what happens to your purchase price (without an offering period reset)?

You're moved to a new offering period, and will have a new purchase price.

All vested RSUs are yours to keep.  


Any unvested RSUs are canceled and returned to the company pool.

I moved.  How can I update my address in Shareworks?

Your demographic data comes directly from Workday.  If you've updated your details in Workday, it will be sent to Shareworks that evening.

If you're signed up and happy with your ESPP percentage, what do you need to do during Enrollment?

Nothing.  No action is needed.

If I leave Remitly or withdraw from ESPP, what happens to the money I've contributed?

It will all be refunded to you within 3 pay cycles.

Do I have to sell my RSUs immediately?

No. Once they've vested, you can keep or sell your shares whenever you're ready - as long as you're compliant with our Insider Trading Policy.

Is Okta the only way to access my Shareworks account?

No.  You can access Shareworks via a mobile app or the direct site but we recommend using Okta for security reasons.

How is my new hire grant calculated? 

As of January 2025, new hire grants are calculated using a trailing 3-month average of Remitly's closing market price.  The averages are for the month you started at Remitly and the 2 months prior.

If your offering period is ending and you want to continue participating, what do you need to do? 

Re-enroll. Although that is not happening to any current offering periods.

When will ESPP shares be purchased for me?

February 28 or August 31

As long as those are business days.  If they are non-business days, the purchase will be processed on the previous business day.

It is RSU Vesting Day.  Will I see shares in my account today?

Probably not.   We try to get your RSUs and tax responsibilities processed quickly.  It usually takes 2-7 business days.

If I leave Remitly, will you close my Shareworks account or change my access?

No.  Shareworks accounts are yours even if/after you leave Remitly. You can continue holding shares there for as long as you'd like.
