It relates to you. This could be something that happened to you or around you.
What does the anagram AXES stand for? (Without looking at your notes).
A-Assertion X-Example E-Explanation S-Significance
Pull up the prompt for Essay one and read the "assignment prompt" portion out loud to the group.

How can you be sure that your example is "strong"? What details should you include for the reader?
Who is involved, what happened, the time or age you were, and the place/location.
Share an assertion from one of your paragraphs in your draft and get feedback from the group.
