As an educational activity, what is the purpose of writing a profile essay
This assignment introduces first-year writers to in-text citation and documentation of sources, as per Modern Language Association’s (9th edition). What’s more, this essay allows students to share a useful resource, story, or event at Lehigh which may benefit students in the course.

If you want feedback on your essay, name 2 sources of it besides the professor
Sixth, At any stage of the writing process, attend student hours with me or Besa, our Graduate Teaching Assistant, and/or create an account & schedule appointments with the Lehigh Writing Center. After you’ve finished writing your essay and proofread, edit, and revise. Submit on CourseSite.
What is the required length of this essay?
At least 4 pages, double spaced. Worked Cited page is counted separately.
Summarize the policy on student policy on feedback (bottom of p.2)
I teach other classes, and have many other responsibilities. I cannot provide you with 24/7 feedback, especially between drafts.
Use the Lehigh Writing Center, Besa, ICAPE’s Graduate Teaching Assistant appointments on Fridays. These are free, and available when I am not.
2 days minimum to respond to essay feedback - share via Google Docs please.
2 days minimum to respond to emails, questions, or other requests. I check my email but late night / early morning emails I won’t see before class

No - this will disrupt the entire writing process. You need a clear plan.
