To begin with, self-driving cars could pose a threat to motorists. According to Huffington Post, "the technology is not advanced enough to use on the roads". This shows that self driving cars could potentially be dangerous because the technology isn't up to date. Jean Marsh states, "The self-driving car relies on a lot of trust, trust that it has not earned yet". Marsh brings up a good point that self-driving cars could be a thing oft he future, but for now, they are not safe enough to put on our roads.  Some might argue that only one crash has been recorded by a self-driving car, but that one crash is enough to prove that self-driving cars could harm others on the road.
