I was from Spain.  I traveled looking for wealth and glory.  I explored Mexico and then traveled to parts of the southwest U.S. and explored the Grand Canyon. Later, I traveled to present day Kansas and a priest traveling with me taught about religion to people in this area.  Who am I?
