What is Multigenerational workforce

Definition and Generational Composition

A multigenerational workforce consists of employees from several distinct age groups, often spanning five generations: the Silent Generation (born before 1945), Baby Boomers (1946–1964), Generation X (1965–1980), Millennials (1981–1996), and Generation Z (born after 1997). Longer life spans and evolving career expectations have made it common for younger employees to collaborate with older colleagues, creating a workforce with broad age diversity.

First selfie

Who was Robert Cornelius?

Instagram wasn’t a thing in the 1800s but that doesn’t mean young people didn’t love to take pictures of themselves! In 1839 Robert Cornelius had some extra time on his hands while working in his family’s store and decided to take a picture of himself, the first selfie. He would have had to hold his pose for at least several minutes however, which might explain why he didn’t do the infamous “duck lips” face.
