Walking in a straight line and being quiet. They are important because hallways need to stay organized in case of emergency and to keep it safe. Also, because as 5th graders you are the role models of the school.

You were absent yesterday and are back at school today. Where should you look for what you missed? When is the homework you missed due? Who should you ask if you don't understand something?
Upon returning to school, an absent sheet should be inside your desk with all papers that you missed. The homework should be turned in the following day (unless you talked to Ms. Lipkin). If you are confused on what you missed, it would be a good idea to first ask the absent manager, and, as always, Ms. Lipkin to get clarification!

What does it mean to "disagree in an agreeable way?"
You don't always need to agree with the ideas of everyone, however, you need to explain why you don't agree and suggest other possibilities in a respectful way.

Always tell the teacher, as it is our job to be here for you and support you!

What do you do if you need to use the bathroom?
Quietly take the appropriate bathroom pass and place it on your desk. You do not need to ask permission to use the bathroom, however, Ms. Lipkin has the right to suggest a better time to go!

1.) Take a pink slip in math class 2.) Sign the pink slip log in math AND homeroom 3.) Take home the pink slip, get it signed by a parent 4.) Bring signed pink slip and homework, turn into math teacher 5.) Have math teacher sign the pink slip 6.) Bring to homeroom teacher, have HR teacher sign the pink slip and log 7.) Put pink slip into appropriate section of the folder.

What is something that you need two of at ALL times ready to go in your desk?
Two sharpened pencils! Make sure you have a working pencil sharpener and extra pencils in your desk. Every morning you should also check to make sure you have two that are sharp. If you see you are running low on pencils, ask mom and dad for more! =)

Whose responsibility is it to make sure the classroom is kept clean and organized?
Everyone! I purposely did not make a job for anyone to clean the room, as we all need to pitch in and work together to make sure our classroom stays neat and organized.
