If a member makes $1500 in claims on a VSC that cost $2800 and then they decide to cancel the contract, how will their refund be calculated?
IN TEXAS, The member will be refunded the unearned portion of the VSC premium LESS any claims that have been paid. Typically, claims ARE NOT subtracted from refund amounts, but the law in Texas is different. This is not an EFG issues, this is a state law.
