What is the first thing you should do when you enter the classroom?
Team leader gets the journals and then start on the problem of the day. Make sure you pencils are sharped before I start the lesson.
What is the procedure to go to the restroom?
Raise up the appropriate hand signal, sign out, turn on the light, and take the pass.
How do you show responsibility with shared materials?
What should you do before speaking during a class discussion?
How do you show respect when someone else is speaking?
Giving all your attention to the speaker.
When is it okay to leave your seat to exit the room?
When you ask permission. NEVER leave your desk WITHOUT permission.
What do you do when you are finished with an assignment?
Turn in the assignment and work on the may do's on the board.
What should you not do with classroom supplies?
Misuse them.
What should you do if you don’t understand the assignment?
Raise your hand and ask the teacher for help.
What should you do when we have visitors in the classroom?
Continue working, 100% participation, follow classroom rules and procedures.
What is an example of STAR behavior in the classroom?
Being safe, timely, accountable, respectable.
What should you do when you need to sharpen your pencil during class?
Raise up the appropriate signal to ask for permission.
What should you do if a device or supply breaks?
Let the teacher know what happened
How does completing work on time show accountability?
It shows that you are taking responsibility for your own learning, following expectations, and doing what you are supposed to do without being reminded.
