How should you ask to use the restroom?
You will sit at your seat and use the sign language signal for restroom. If it is a good time (when I am not teaching), I will nod at you and let you know you can use the restroom. That way I don't have to be interrupted!

You should run in the hallway?
FALSE! You should NEVER run in the hallway. You should be walking one in front of the other with your hands by your sides and voices off.
Should you share your food with other people?
NO! Some people might have allergies and if you didn't know you could make someone really sick. It is also unsanitary-- think if someone just used the restroom and didn't wash their hands and then stuck their hands in your chip bag.. YUCK!
What should you do if someone is cheating at a game?
You should tell an adult who is out there!
NEVER! If your pencil is broken or it is dull, you will switch it out for a sharpened pencil in the jar and put your broken pencil in the "need to be sharpened" jar!
I will sharpen pencils at the end of the day!
What should you do if you see someone being mean to someone else in the hallway?
You should let a teacher or adult know so they can stop it!

You should ALWAYS say "Thank you" to the adults in there!
TRUE! If you get school lunch, you should say thank you when they hand you your food. If someone helps you open something, you should say thank you!
If a ball rolls into the parking lot/street, what should you do?
Tell an adult and either they will go get it or they will give you permission to go get it! DO NOT run out in the parking lot by yourself!
How will we get your attention?
WE GET TO CHOOSE A CALL AND RESPONSE! :)
How should you line up?
No matter where we are going, you will line up in your number order! That way I know if I am missing anyone and there is no fighting! The ONLY exception is if your job is the line leader or the door holder!

What should the noise level be like in the cafeteria?
It should be a whisper atmosphere! There will be all 3rd grade classes in the cafeteria so it is very important that everyone is using quiet voices.
When playing games, are you allowed to change the rules?
No! We have rules for each game to make sure that it is fair for every body!
How many people can leave the classroom to go to the restroom at one time?
1 student going to use the boy bathroom and 1 student leaving to use the girl bathroom.

You should never get your chromebook out unless Mrs. Chapman tells you to.
TRUE!
I like to use chromebooks to do fun activities but I expect them only to come out when I say! If people are trying to use them without my permission they will go away.
If another classroom has their door open, you should walk in?
WRONG! Even if the door is open, unless you have a reason to go into another classroom, you shouldn't go in
What happens if you really want to go out to recess instead of eating your lunch?
You should make sure to eat first! After lunch, you won't be able to come back into the classroom and finish it. It is very important that you eat your lunch during your lunch time!
When you get to school, the first thing you should do is put your backpack away?
NO! The first thing you should do is say hi to Mrs. Chapman and then make your lunch choice!!!! THEN put your backpack away :)
How should it look whenever you come into the classroom?
You should go straight to your seat and wait for more instructions!
If Mrs. Chapman isn't in the classroom yet when you get there, what should you do?
Wait quietly outside the door, creating a nice, quiet line!
