What is the school rule for electronic devices?

NO devices (phones, smart watches, headphones, etc) in class.
Can have during lunch, passing period, and before/after school.
What voice level should it be when the bell rings?
Zero
What will be the first thing that will need to be done in the first few minutes of class?
Bell Ringer

OH NO! My computer is not charged, what do I do?
Get my own charger, plug into tables/strip, borrow a friend's charger, ask Mrs. K for one (I MUST RETURN),

What is the rule about food and drink?
All snacks and drinks are prohibited.
WATER ONLY - no soda, Gatorade, energy drinks, etc.
What do I need to bring with me to class each day?
Pencil, charged Chromebook, willingness to learn, effort, etc.
When can I make a pass?
When no one else is out (if bathroom)
After I have asked Mrs. K
When I place my computer at the front of the room
When it gets approved
I don't have a pencil, what should I do?
Ask a friend for one, see if there is one around the room, ask Mrs. K (only if you have asked at least 3 other people)

This is my second year!
I taught 7th grade science last year
Student taught in 7th grade math and 5th grade.
When can I NOT make a pass for bathroom, library, nurse, etc?
The first 15 minutes of class and last 15 minutes of class.
What am I allowed to grab off the back shelves without permission?
Probably nothing, yet :)
How do you enter the classroom?
Calmly, not running around and in unassigned seats
What can I use without permission (when the time is appropriate)
Colored pencils, markers, crayons, etc. (found under the turn in drawers)

When should you be in class?
BEFORE the tardy bell
(Lunch, you will need to be back by 11:03 and 12:03)
What should I do if I hear Mrs. Kaltmayer counting down?
Stop what I am doing, set things down, turn off my voice, and face her.
Where will I turn in any work?
The drawer that is assigned to my class. (Mrs. K will now show)
I made a mess, what should I do?
Clean up immediately, notify Mrs. K if needed.

When can I touch or move someone else's project?
ONLY if they ask you specifically to.
How will I leave the room?
What does that look like?
Cleaner than when we found it.
Chairs are pushed in (stacked for 4th block), nothing is on the ground, supplies are put back nicely, etc.
