How do we walk in the hallway?

How do we come into the classroom every morning?
We unpack, check in with our bus, and quietly go to our seats and begin morning work. If you need breakfast you must quickly go down before 8:50!
What is expectation #1?
Be respectful!
We use kind words and actions to help everyone feel safe and happy.

When is the best time to use the bathroom?
During brain breaks, before instruction starts.
NEVER DURING A MINI LESSON or SMALL GROUP
Be Responsible!
We listen during lessons and when someone is talking so we can understand and learn.
What privileges could we lose?
Recess, team time, movie, field trip, etc.
How do we earn tickets?
By following expected behaviors...
Answering a question, being kind to all, going above and beyond! Being a role model student, being a leader!
What are the lunch expectations?
Staying seated during eating
Being inclusive to all
Throwing away all trash
Cleaning your area
Walking everywhere!

What is expectation #3
Be ready!
We come to class with a pencil and all materials we need for class.
Who has to call home if we receive that consequence?
You and the teacher.
How do we earn marbles?
If everyone in class is doing the right thing! Everyone coming in prepared for class, walking in the hallway, level 0 during transitions.
How do we play at recess?
We wait inside and WALK outside to recess in a single file line.
When playing, we are respectful, inclusive, and following the expectations
Where should we be during a mini lesson?
During independent workshop?
Mini lesson: Always in your seats! You should not be walking around the room for any reason!
Workshop: you may be in a small group, in your seats, or if Miss Flanders allows it, around the room.
What do we earn from tickets?
tickets will be pulled during team time! If your name is pulled you can pick a prize!
What do we earn with the marbles?
Marbles are combined during team time! Right now on the road to fill up the jar! We can win a class pet!
